Learning by Doing: English Paper Piecing Basics

The Learning by Doing series are skills and knowledge demos that explore different quilting and piecing techniques, tools and traditions, and innovations. Think of them as an in-person YouTube tutorial with an interactive and responsive comment section. All you need to bring is your curiosity.

This month, we're exploring the basics of English Paper Piecing. We'll talk about what it is, it's advantages, and how to get started.

Instructor: Aidan Schneider
Instructor Bio: Aidan is the owner of The Cottage Quilt Shop, where she's building a space with no gatekeeping and no assumptions, just fabric and folks who love it. Before quilting took over, she worked as a freelance graphic designer, which is why the shop looks the way it does. She's hands-on with pattern and kit development and loves geeking out over new techniques.
