Hemingway Pouch

The Hemingway Pouch is a great first bag project. It's a quilted pouch with a striking diagonal zipper that looks like it came from a boutique. In this class, you'll be guided through making your own Hemingway Pouch in the large size, perfect for tablets, notebooks, and more.
Materials list:
- One Fat Quarter for the Main Fabric
- One Fat Quarter for the Lining Fabric
- One 1/4 yard (or a Fat Quarter) for Accent Fabric (binding)
- 21" x 18" of Foam Stabilizer or batting
- 24" or longer zipper (size #4.5 or #5 is recommended) with zipper pull
- Hemingway Pouch pattern, by Center Street Quilts
Students must also bring:
- Sewing machine and any accessories needed to operate
- Thread and bobbins
- Snacks and water
Students must quilt their panel prior to class starting. The class space will be available at 10:30 am on class day to students who wish to do their pre-work at that point. This does not guarantee an instructor will available prior to class starting.
